Inferno

Imagine a musical threesome between Queens Of The Stone Age, Motorhead and Johnny Cash, with the whole sordid affair being filmed by Quentin Tarantino, then you can start to picture where this band are coming from.

“It’s like being sweet and sour at the same time” states frontman Joe Harvey. “It’s got to be pleasing to the eye, but dangerous to the touch,..like a ying and yang of heaviness and melody. That’s what makes it special”.

The band's live show is also something to behold, their presence and passion onstage is instantly engaging. For the best part of the last decade they have been cultivating a cult following across the country through good, old fashioned gigging and touring, at anytime, anyplace to anyone who will listen.

MAIDEN UNITED (Headliner)

In 2006 the Dutch Iron Maiden fanclub asked Joey Bruers to do a special show; something other than the regular tribute or cover band. With musicians from several bands he performed a set of rearranged acoustic Maiden songs. The reactions from the crowd were overwhelming. Steve Harris attended that convention and gave them two thumbs up.

The idea that became a show then became a project. A project called Maiden uniteD, because we hope to bring all kinds of musicians and fans from all over the world together to celebrate the music that has already united us for over three decades.

Maiden uniteD has released 2 albums: “Mind the Acoustic Pieces” (2010) and 'Across The Seventh Sea' (2012).

"Mind The Acoustic Pieces" is an all-acoustic reinterpretation of the classic 1983 album 'Piece of Mind' with new arrangements. This release was accompanied by a European club tour and also brought them to the Download festival and Wacken Open Air.

'Across The Seventh Sea' features some well-known and some less well-knows tracks by Iron Maiden. The guest musicians are Perttu Kivilaakso (Apocalyptica) on the album and Lee Morris (ex-Paradise Lost), Stef Broks (Textures), Luke Appleton (Iced Earth) and Huub Van Loon (Dearworld) as tour guests.

Massive Wagons (To Close The Night!)

"MASSIVE WAGONS.....total.....No BULLSH*T ROCK AND ROLL.....5 guys, playing the music they love....hearts on their sleeves....with every ounce of fire they can muster....every minute of every gig.........it's what we do......and we do it well! We will not stop until it's physically impossible to play anymore, cos we want more than anything on earth to entertain the people who love real rock and roll, much love x"

Back in July we hosted an 'Emergency Services Day', and Massive Wagons arrived quite late in the night, after rushing over from another gig, just to rock our stage!
They played an AMAZING mixed set of covers and originals, particularly their new track 'Fight The System'. Most bands sound better on CD but these guys performed their track 'Fight The System' better live... It Was Loud, Brutal, Melodic... We Love It.
To top it all off they threw in some covers, of classic rock tracks, some of the most difficult to perform covers, I may add.

AND THEN THERE WAS AUGUST MAYHEM (BANK HOLIDAY).... Well... Once again, Massive Wagons "F**KED SH1T Up"... Headlined our already amazing lineup and were absolutely mindblowing, even though they only had one guitarist, they still smashed it!

All In All, We Rate The Massive Wagons Absolutely Phenomenal! And You Would Be Mad To Miss Them!
