Multi-Track Recording Studio

Here at The Flying Shuttle we have facilities to record performances Multi-Track, and we have an in-house Sound Engineer/Music Producer who will oversee the full session.

During the recording session, our in-house Sound Engineer will rig the stage around your equipment, and do a full recording sound-check. Once the recording performance has been completed, you will then be able to listen as your performance is being Professionally Mastered, so that you can definately be happy with the sound produced.

If you would like to make a booking for the Recording Studio please go to the Bookings page.

The Stage

The stage

The stage at The Flying Shuttle is large enough for a 7-peice band (we can accomodate for larger groups if necessary), and we have 2x XLR stage snakes, so you just plug in and go.

There are a set of 6x monitor speakers (1500w total) that can be individually controlled, so everyone on stage can hear the full performance.

The P.A. is 4000watt with 2x mixing consoles, one of which is purely for the Drumkit.

The Mixing Room

Main Mixer

This is the main mixer that controls how the performance will sound in the venue.

This is directly connected to the Multi-Track recorder, so anything inputted can be recorded, and then outputted through the main P.A. and routed to either set of monitors.

Mixing Console

This is the full mixing console.

There are 2x 8-channel Mixers (Drums / Backline-Vocals), a Graphic Equalizer, an ADAT Multi-Track interface, a Crossover to control the P.A. Amplifiers. Then there are 2x 2000watt P.A. Amplifiers, and finally a 1500watt Monitor Amplifier.
